Ann M. Winegar, PG, CP has 18 years of environmental and geotechnical expertise and provides environmental consulting services including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Phase I ESA updates, ASTM Transaction Screens, OEPA VAP Phase I and II ESAs, soil and groundwater sampling and BUSTR Tier I and Tier II reports. Ann is a registered Professional Geologist and Certified Professional with a BS degree in Geology from Cleveland State University and graduate course work in Geology from Kent State University and the University of Akron.

Ann has conducted more than 200 Phase I ESAs for industrial, commercial, government, nonprofit, legal and financial institutions that included property history research, site walkover observation and Phase I ESA report preparation. She has been the project manager for three US EPA Community Wide Hazardous Substances and Petroleum Assessment Grants. Responsibilities for these projects included preparation of Brownfield inventories of facilities in the project area; preparation of USEPA approved Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs); management of Phase I and II investigations at numerous facilities; preparation of sampling and analysis plans (SAPs); health and safety plans; and technical reports. Other duties include monitoring the grant budget and assisting communities with reporting and outreach activities.

Ann thoroughly enjoys the variety of projects she works on in her area of expertise and looks forward to discovering solutions to new challenges. She always strives to maximize her client’s time and budget and when it comes to logistics; she has a knack for juggling the plethora of details involved with environmental projects.

In her spare time, Ann loves spending time with her horse competing at hunter/jumper shows. She loves to travel and is currently preparing for her first trip abroad, and she also volunteers as a youth group leader at her church.
