Hayder is a Senior Project Engineer with 14 years of experience. He serves as a project manager and engineer-of-record on building enclosure and reinforced concrete structures restoration projects, including commercial and historic buildings; parking structures; pedestrian, highway and railroad bridges; as well as underground structures including vaults and tunnels. Key tasks include: project set-up, scope development; review of existing, as-built documents and field assessment; development of conceptual design and preparation of conceptual cost estimates; development of technical specifications and detailed design documents.

Hayder is a qualified Professional Engineer and bridge inspection team leader, in accordance with the National Bridge Inspection Standards 23 CFR Part 650.309. He is a specialist in providing nondestructive assessment of concrete structures using sonic, ultrasonic and impulse radar testing equipment.

Hayder is a NACE CIP-1 certified coating inspector, a certified Structural Masonry Special Inspector (SMSI), a certified Concrete Coatings Inspector (CCI-2), an ICRI certified Concrete Slab Moisture Test Technician (CSMT), and a certified Level 1 Thermographer.

Hayder served as the assistant project manager and lead field engineer for coatings, concrete, and structural steel repair work for a two year project which involved the widening of the Ambassador Bridge. He also provided concrete repair consulting, restoration specifications, and document preparation and auditing of the restoration work on the concrete abutments and piers of the Ambassador Bridge on both US and Canadian sides. Hayder also served as the assistant project manager and lead field engineer for several bridge inspection and restoration projects, including the Conrail Bascule Bridge over the Rouge River in Detroit, Michigan, the Grosse Ile Toll Bridge over the Detroit River in Grosse Ile, Michigan, and the Oakland University Pedestrian Bridge Replacement in Rochester, Michigan.

Lastly, Hayder assisted in performing and developing nondestructive assessments of concrete foundation components for power plant facilities worldwide, including the Steam Turbine concrete foundation at the Subiya II Power Plant located in Subiya, Kuwait, and the Gas Turbine concrete foundation at the SLP CCGT Power Plant located in Queretaro, Mexico.
Hayder is currently serving as a director member of the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) - Michigan Chapter. He also serves as an associate member of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) Committee 222 “Corrosion of Metal in Concrete” and Committee 365 “Service-Life Prediction”.
