Wessam (Wess) N. Mekhael, PE provides management and technical direction for the Cleveland team as Regional Office Manager. He coordinates a diverse team of engineers and technicians to oversee consulting services related to geotechnical engineering, Building materials, and construction materials services (CMS). He is an expert of evaluations related to engineered fill and backfill, concrete, foundation bearing soils, masonry and pavements, as well as laboratory testing of soils and concrete. Wess provides resident engineering services related to daily construction activities including scheduling, and reviewing submittals and change orders for CMS projects. He also provides consultation and engineering evaluations of problems encountered during construction.

With over 10 years of experience, Wess is a licensed engineer in Michigan and Ohio. He holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Wayne State University. His technical, administrative, and budgetary management expertise has been utilized on more than 2,000 projects in northeast Ohio. He is skilled at estimating project scopes and budgets, and is well known for communicating with clients throughout the duration of their projects.

Wess is an American Concrete Institute (ACI) Certified Examiner and ODOT Construction Engineer Level II. Wess is the Secretary of the Cleveland Engineering Society. He is a member of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), and American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

In addition to his active work schedule, Wess enjoys to travel, playing and watching sports, outdoor activities, and spending time with his family which includes his wife and four children. He spends some of his free time supporting several groups at his church.
