INDIANA DOT PREQUALIFIES SME FOR CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL TESTING SERVICES

Soil and Materials Engineers, Inc. (SME) has been prequalified by the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) to provide Construction Material Testing services. Typical construction material testing services for state DOTs includes concrete testing, soil density testing and asphalt concrete testing.  

SME has provided construction material testing for over 2,800 highway, roadway and bridge improvement projects for state DOTs and local governmental agencies. Our modern soil and material laboratory facilities allow us to directly provide competent and objective testing of samples. SME is accredited by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) for soil, aggregate, Portland Cement Concrete, Hot Mix Asphalt, and metals testing. SME participates in Round Robin certification testing sponsored by the Association of Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL). Test equipment is calibrated to NIST standards, and procedures utilized are in compliance with ASTM and associated governing agencies. Our lab is also certified by the Corps of Engineers.
