SME's Columbus Office Moves, Appoints Colin Flaherty as Regional Office Manager

Three years after opening a location in Columbus, SME is pleased to announce a new office location and the appointment of Colin O. Flaherty, CP, CPG, PG as Regional Office Manager.

SME’s Columbus office has quickly become a valuable resource for environmental and geotechnical consulting services in Central Ohio. The team also supports SME’s offices in Cincinnati and Cleveland, as well as Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, and New Albany, Indiana.   

The new office space, located at 4401 Lyman Drive, Suite C, Hillard, Ohio 43026, will allow the team to continue to grow and add additional services. 

As the new Regional Office Manager, Colin will ensure clients in Central Ohio are experiencing the high value and personalized services SME is known for, while working to achieve strategic goals related growing SME’s presence in the Columbus area and beyond.

Colin has been an integral part of establishing SME’s Columbus office. He joined the office in early 2019 and has since worked diligently to help clients navigate their complex revitalization projects in the area. He utilizes his nearly 20 years of environmental and geosciences experience to manage a variety of projects including Phase I/II environmental site assessments (ESAs), brownfield redevelopments, Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Voluntary Action Program (VAP) projects, USEPA Brownfield Assessment Grants, UST projects, hydrogeological site investigations, and numerous forms of environmental monitoring and reporting. In addition to his environmental background, Colin is knowledgeable in the solid waste, industrial hygiene, natural resources, regulatory compliance, geotechnical engineering, and construction materials fields.
