Meet Heather Cox, FSMPS, CPSM: A Journey of Continuous Learning, Growth, and Making Connections
Heather’s portfolio shows her solid experience in marketing and business development. Her dedication and drive to continuously learn and grow have allowed her to provide value in various areas, including drafting, electrical and architectural design, project management, accounting, marketing, and relationship building. Heather sincerely seeks to help and support others. One of her favorite quotes from “The Go-Giver” is, “Your influence is determined by how abundantly you place other people’s interest first.” Her passion for mentoring others makes certain that she’s not just focused on her own success but on the success of others. Located in Indiana, Heather’s specialty is her ability to understand the client’s unique challenges in a way where she’s able to then leverage SME’s experience, providing the client with the right solutions. Her dedication to our client’s success and her ability to build lasting relationships will help contribute to the overall success of our Team and clients.
Meet Lourenzo Giple, Assoc. AIA, NOMA: A Visionary for Community Revitalization
Influenced by his family’s background in business and engineering, Lourenzo knew from a young age he wanted a career in architecture, urban planning, and urban design. His roles in real estate development and housing policy demonstrate his fascination with solving complex problems and his dedication to community revitalization and redevelopment. Lourenzo’s expertise in Indiana will undoubtedly contribute to SME’s mission and support our clients’ needs, especially in projects with a vision for community revitalization. When you get to know Lourenzo, you’ll be drawn to his dynamic and charismatic personality. He’s the type of guy you rely on and can trust he’ll help find you a great solution.
Meet Travis Alden: Building Relationships and Enhancing Communities
Travis has had quite a career journey. Initially a film and video production professional, a promotional video project opened his eyes to the world of community and economic development, and he hasn’t looked back. Fortunately for SME, he’s found a way to leverage his creativity to improve community prosperity through catalytic development initiatives ranging from public space placemaking and downtown revitalization to industrial site readiness and strategic stakeholder facilitation. Travis’s experience in relationship-building and problem-solving, such as his work on the revitalization of a shuttered 1938 Art Deco movie house, is an important part of our Team. Travis’s unique blend of creativity and strategic thinking will prove vital in forging new connections and driving growth in Michigan.
The foundation of our success lies in building meaningful relationships. And as our Team continues to grow, we are eager to identify new opportunities to deliver comprehensive construction and development support throughout the lifecycle of our client’s projects.
Our existing Development Team Members, Mike Meddock, PE, CPSM, Deb Osuch, CPSM, REM, and Brad Ewart, PE have been instrumental in SME’s growth and success, identifying new opportunities, building and maintaining relationships, and facilitating the growth and development of SME’s seller-doers. Their efforts have built a foundation that will be further strengthened with the addition of Heather, Lourenzo, and Travis. Together, this Team will forge strong relationships, enhance our market presence, and drive SME’s mission to Build + Revitalize Our World.
