Andrew Smith, PE  is a Project Engineer with SME’s Construction Materials Services (CMS) Group in our Macomb office. With more than 15 years of experience, Andy is knowledgeable in shallow and deep foundations, earth retention systems, engineered fill and backfill, soil infiltration, concrete and reinforcing steel, concrete relative humidity, masonry, pavements, and laboratory testing of soils and concrete. He has provided resident engineering services related to daily construction activities including scheduling and reviewing submittals and change orders for CMS projects. Andy also has several years of experience with geotechnical engineering and vibration monitoring. Andrew Smith earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Kansas, and Missouri.
